BRUNSWICK, Maine - January 12, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer men's indoor track and field team resumed action on Saturday at the Bowdoin Invitational.
RESULTS
Highlighting the day for the Chargers was a record-setting performance by first-year
Jacob Nichol. He placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a school record time of 9.31, which breaks the previous mark of 9.38 held by
Matt Carl '18. Nichol then finished sixth in the finals with a time of 9.46.
Bruin Smith finished ninth in the 1000-meter run at 2:54.22.
In the 3000-meter run,
Liam Fleming placed ninth with a time of 9:34.06 and was followed by
Ben Jones in 10th at 9:35.52.
First-year
Jacob Walker set a personal record in the shot put with a distance of 8.57 meters.
The Chargers will compete at Smith College next Saturday.
