HANOVER, N.H. - March 18, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team returned home from a spring break trip to Florida during the week for a Sunday match with Colby at the Boss Tennis Center on the campus of Dartmouth College. Colby won 7-2.
The Mules improve to 4-1, while Colby-Sawyer dips to 14-4. The Chargers will continue their spring schedule with a home match against Wheaton on Saturday.
In doubles action, Colby-Sawyer's top duo of
Ashley Woodside and
Yashu Yang collected the team's lone point. The tandem cruised to an 8-2 victory over Gabriela Venditti and Lydia Venditti.
Yang then posted a singles win for Colby-Sawyer at the second flight. She defeated Gabriela Venditti 6-3, 6-2.
