STANDISH, Maine - October 30, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team had its season come to an end on Tuesday evening after a 2-0 loss at nationally ranked Saint Joseph's College of Maine in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Semifinals.

Top-seeded Saint Joseph's, ranked #5 in D3occer.com and #9 in United Soccer Coaches, improves to 19-0 and will host the GNAC Championship on Saturday against second-seeded Johnson & Wales. Colby-Sawyer ends its season at 7-8-2.

After nearly 40 minutes of scoreless play, senior midfielder Rory Twomey (South Windsor, Conn.) scored his fourth goal of the season off a pass from junior Jackson Taylor (Gorham, Maine) at the 39:27 mark.

The home team doubled its advantage in the 64th minute, when Taylor scored off a free kick from 35 yards out.
