Men's Hockey fall to Thomas College 7-2

BIDDEFORD, Maine – December 2, 2017 – Colby-Sawyer College club ice hockey team fell to Thomas College, 7-2, on Saturday night.
 
The Thomas College Terriers started the scoring midway through the first period with a goal by Zach Gagne with assists coming from Alex Lawson and Tito Nuranjara. Gagne scored his second goal four minutes later.
 
The Colby-Sawyer Chargers got on the board at 10:05 in the second period with a goal from senior Mike Diorio. He was assisted by sophomore Jack Alissi and freshman Will Schmidlein.
 
The Terriers continued their offensive onslaught with a goal to make the score 4-1. With three minutes left in the second period, the Chargers made a push to keep the game in reach with a goal from Schmidlein. With the score at 4-2, the Chargers had the opportunity to make a comeback in the third but Thomas's offense poured it on to push the game out of reach. Three goals from the Terriers sealed the game.
 
The Thomas College Terriers had six different players score goals with Zach Gagne tallying two himself.
