Auburn, ME - The Chargers dropped a tough road game to the Mustangs of Central Maine Community College, 5-4. The Mustangs would get off to a quick start in the first 25 minutes putting 3 past Colby-Sawyer for a comfortable 3-0 lead. Penalty trouble late in the second allowed the Chargers the opportunity to tie the game with 3 un-answered power play goals.
In the third period the Mustangs would have a penalty kill to start the period and would get two goals to make it 5-3. The Chargers pushed forward to get back in and finding an opening to make it 5-4. The last minute was full of players diving and blocking shots, and the Mustangs goalie having to make several saves to seal the win.
