HALLOWELL, Maine –Colby-Sawyer Ice Hockey dropped a road game to Thomas College on Sunday night 4-1 at the Ice Vault.
Thomas College kicked off the scoring with just under five minutes to go in the first period to give Thomas the early 1-0 lead. Neither team could find the back of the net in the first 20 minutes as the Terriers took their 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
Colby Sawyer tied the game up halfway through the second period with a goal by Jeremy Reardon. However, the Terriers answered back a little over a minute later when DJ Cagnina found the back of the net, giving the home team a 2-1 lead.
Thomas added two insurance goals in the final period, at 14:25 and the other coming with 5:08 remaining in the game.
