HARTFORD, Conn. - September 24, 2016 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team continued its tough stretch of the schedule with matches against Trinity and Wesleyan on Saturday.
The Chargers fell to Trinity 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-11) and Wesleyan 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-20).
In the day's first match against tournament host Trinity, freshman
Micaela Cardozo had a team best six kills on .238 hitting. She added 10 digs, while freshman
Caroline McCoy also finished with 10 digs. Sophomore
Courtney Murray added five kills.
Freshman
Naarah Cox led the team against Wesleyan with five kills on .300 hitting. Freshman
Allie Rogers contributed four kills and four digs. Freshman
Morgan Flynn had a match best 12 digs. Freshman
Olivia Goodrich tallied a double-double of 13 assists and 10 digs.
