BAYAMON, P.R. - The Colby-Sawyer women's lacrosse team began a spring break trip to Puerto Rico with a 17-5 loss to Stevenson on Monday afternoon at Bayamon Soccer Complex.
Colby-Sawyer drops to 0-3, while the Mustangs improve to 1-4. The Chargers will play Plymouth State on Wednesday before heading back to New Hampshire.
Stevenson outscored the Chargers 12-4 in the first half and 5-1 in the second half.
Leading the way for Colby-Sawyer was
Nicole Lavigne and
Caitlyn Whearty who scored two goals apiece.
Bailey Starr added a goal, while
Molly Mulcahy collected a pair of assists.
Sara Berry tallied a team best three ground balls, while Lavigne had three draw controls.
