PROVIDENCE, R.I. - October 12, 2016 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team fell to undefeated Johnson & Wales, 3-0 on Wednesday evening. The Wildcats won by scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-11.
JWU improves to 21-0 on the season and will resume Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action tomorrow night at Emmanuel. Colby-Sawyer will look to rebound on Saturday when the team travels to Vermont for a pair of North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matches against Castleton and Green Mountain.
Colby-Sawyer was led by
Courtney Murray. She had six kills and a pair of blocks.
Micaela Cardozo chipped in three kills and a team best eight digs.
Eliabeth Hamilton led all players with 12 kills on .647 hitting for the Wildcats. Kate Walker hit .727 and finished with eight kills. Maria Coniglio also had eight kills.
