NEW LONDON, N.H. – February 21, 2015 – The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team ended the regular season with a 72-62 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory over Johnson State on senior day, Saturday afternoon.
Prior to today's contest, seniors
Kelsey Bragdon (Wells, Maine) and
Kelsey Cahill (Cumberland, R.I.) were honored for their four years of hard work and dedication to the Colby-Sawyer women's basketball program.

Colby-Sawyer finishes the regular season with a 15-10 overall record and earns the fourth seed in the NAC with a 12-6 record. The Chargers will host UMaine-Farmington on Tuesday in the first round of the NAC tournament. Johnson State ends its season at 6-18 overall and 6-12 in conference action.
Johnson got out to a 7-1 lead in the first 3:28 of the game thanks to five points from Dominique Carter-Stanley (Norwalk, Conn.). The visitors held a lead until the 11:29 mark when Colby-Sawyer freshman
Morgan Fogg (Sanford, Maine) knotted the game at 11-11 with a layup. The Chargers took their first lead with 8:03 left on a
Kelsey Cahill lay-in with 8:03 on the clock. Colby-Sawyer held a lead for the remainder of the half and was ahead by 11 after a trey from freshman
Sarah Donnelly (Medford, Mass.) at 4:19. The Badgers finished the half on 12-4 run to trail 38-35 going into the break. Donnelly had 13 points for Colby-Sawyer, while Carter-Stanley scored 12 for Johnson.
The Chargers did not let the visitors get closer than three points in the second frame and eventually pushed the advantage to 12 with a 9-0 run late in the half to take a 66-54 lead and secure the 72-62 victory.
Cahill finished the game with her seventh double-double of the season with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Donnelly and sophomore
Lexi Iannone (North Haven, Conn.) scored 13 points apiece.
Johnson was led by a 16-point effort from Brittany Robertson (Burlington, Vt.). Carter-Stanley finished with 14 points. Sophomore Sarah Voorhis (Nashua, N.H.) played 18 minutes off the bench and added 10 points and eight rebounds.
