NEW LONDON, N.H. - November 14, 2015 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team split against Elms and Plymouth State in a tri-meet at Knight Natatorium on Saturday afternoon. RESULTSColby-Sawyer swam to a 151-88 victory over Elms College, but dropped a close decision to Plymouth State 129-113. Meghan Mamlock earned the Chargers' first win of the afternoon by taking top honors in the 200 freestyle in 2:05.12 almost seven seconds in front of the next finisher. Mamlock also added a pair of second place finishes in the 200 breaststroke (2:49.90) and 100 freestyle (58.08).
Elaine Miller continued to pile up the wins in the freestyle events with two more today. She won the 50 freestyle in 25.83 and the 100 freestyle in 56.34.
Makenzie Welch won the 200 backstroke by more than eight seconds en route to a time of 2:20.47.
Anna Gaskill also collected a win on Saturday. She touched the wall first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:48.68.
