CHICOPEE, Mass. - November 15, 2014 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team competed at Elms College on Saturday. The Chargers earned a 178-81 win over the Blazers in the dual meet.

The Chargers were led by junior Elaine Miller and freshman Anna Gaskill who each posted a pair of individual wins on the day.

Miller earned the top times in the 50 freestyle (29.81) and the 50 butterfly (33.98) as well anchoring the first place 200 freestyle relay team (2:00.03).

Gaskill earned first places finishes in the 800 freestyle (10:23.46) and the 100 butterfly (1:15.26) as well as placing second in the 50 butterfly (34.16).

Senior Krystyna Estrada and sophomore Meghan Mamlock each earned individual wins on the day, as well as helping the 200 meter freestyle relay team to a first place finish. Estrada placed first the 200 freestyle (2:17.47) while Mamlock placed first in the 50 breaststroke (40.72) and second in the 100 breaststroke (1:30.17).

Mamlock also anchored the 200 medley relay team to a first place finish (2:20.58). Other team members included juniors Hannah Willcutt, Haley Charest and Alex Dumont. In addition, Charest earned a first place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:28.66) and a second place finish in the 50 breaststroke (40.77), while Dumont placed first in the 100 IM (1:20.78) and second in the 50 freestyle (31.88).

First-year Makenzie Welch earned a first place finish in the 100 freestyle (1:04.78) and also a second place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:20.14).

The Chargers will return to action Sunday when they travel to Plymouth State University for a dual meet with the Panthers.
