Box Score LEICESTER, Mass.- September 21, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer College men's soccer team defeated Becker College 3-0 in non-conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.

The Chargers improve 4-2, while the Hawks remain winless at 0-8.

The Chargers got on the board 14:34 into the game when Carlton Wheeler-Omiunu (Bellingham, Mass.) broke free down the near sideline, lacing a shot into the top left corner. Colby-Sawyer added to their lead in the 18th minute when Andrew Clothier (Matamata, New Zealand) set up Rick Prindiville (Hooksett, N.H.) by the left post, making the score 2-0.

The Chargers increased their lead to 3-0 in the 57th minute when Alex Ortega (Milton, Vt.) split the Becker defense for his third goal of the season.

Colby Sawyer goalkeeper Nick Austin (Westerly, R.I.) made two saves for his third shutout of the season. Becker keeper Tim MacDonald (Holden, Mass.) made six saves before giving way to Albert Tabor (Willimantic, Conn.), who made three saves.

The Chargers return to action on Wednesday, September 25, when they travel to Middlebury College at 4:00 p.m. The Hawks get back to work on Tuesday, September 24, when they travel to non-conference rival Anna Maria at 7:00 p.m.
