Box Score NEW LONDON, N.H. – September 11, 2013 – Freshman Vinny Morra (Setauket, N.Y.) scored two first half goals to lift the Clark University men's soccer team to a 2-0 road victory over Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday afternoon.

Clark improves to 2-1-1, while the Chargers pull even at 2-2.
Morra put the visitors on the board in the 13th minute after he gained control of a loose ball on the right side of the six-yard box and scored into the opposite bottom corner of the net.
Fourteen minutes later, Morra again gathered a loose ball after a Colby-Sawyer defender misplayed a clear attempt. Morra was able to score past the dive of Chargers keeper
Nick Austin (Westerly, R.I.) for his third tally of the season.
Austin kept the home team in the game, making eight saves, including a penalty kick. Sophomore Robert Bischof (Tarrytown, N.Y.) played the first 61:47 for the Cougars to earn his second win of the season. Freshman Alistair Richardson (Tolland, Conn.) finished the game and made two saves to combine for the clean sheet.
Clark outshot Colby-Sawyer 25-5. The Chargers played the final 16 minutes a man down after a defender was sent off for receiving two cards.
Colby-Sawyer has a week off before its next contest on Wednesday, September 18 at 4:00 p.m. against Rivier at home. Clark begins a four-game home stand on Saturday against Brandeis at 1:00 p.m.
