NEW LONDON, N.H. - April 4, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team had it's four match win streak snapped in a 6-3 loss to the University of Southern Maine Thursday afternoon in New London, N.H.
With the loss, the Chargers drop to 6-5 overall while the Huskies improve to 3-4. Southern Maine opened the match by sweeping the doubles' matches. Colby-Sawyer responded by taking the top three singles' matches. Southern Maine would utilize the four, five and six matchups to take the advantage and win the match 6-3.
The Chargers return to the court Saturday to host North Atlantic Conference foe Thomas College. First serve is set for 1:00 pm. Southern Maine will host Thomas College Tuesday.
