Men's Tennis Improves to 4-0 in NAC with 9-0 Win over Johnson

NEW LONDON, N.H. - April 13, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team improved to 4-0 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) East Division with a 9-0 sweep of Johnson on Saturday evening. 

The Chargers are now 9-6 overall and sit atop the NAC East standings at 4-0. Johnson drops to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in conference play. 

Colby-Sawyer went ahead 3-0 after each doubles team swept their opponents 8-0. 

Nathan Taschereau, Justin Pinard, Sergio Spassof, and Reeve Fidler each won their singles matches in straight sets without dropping a game. 

Julius Graefe won his No. 5 singles match over Alex Pakatar, 6-1, 6-1. 

Erik Boudreault picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Greg Davis at the sixth flight. 

Colby-Sawyer travels to MCLA on Sunday for a 1:00 pm contest. Johnson plays at Thomas Sunday at noon.
