DiCecca scored the game's first goal in the 31st minute. The ball was pin-balling between several players in the Beavers' six-yard box when DiCecca was able to get a shot off and score his second goal of the season.
The Chargers took the 1-0 lead into the break after controlling the first half with a 15-2 advantage in shots and a 7-2 edge in corners.
UMaine-Farmington knotted the score early in the second half when sophomore Ibrahim Achekh (Aboudeia, Chad) sent a ball towards the Colby-Sawyer net that the goalie could not handle. The goal was Achekh's team leading third of the season.
