Box Score NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 26, 2013 – The Colby-Sawyer and Husson men's soccer teams played to a 1-1 draw in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest, on Saturday afternoon. Prior to the game, Colby-Sawyer's five seniors were honored.

Colby-Sawyer goes to 8-6-2 overall and 4-3-2 in the NAC. The Chargers are locked into the sixth slot in the NAC standings and will host Wheaton on Tuesday in a non-conference regular season finale. The Eagles are now 5-6-4 overall and 5-1-3 in conference play. Husson hosts Rivier on Tuesday in a regular season finale.
Husson was able to take a 1-0 lead in the 5th minute after a Colby-Sawyer miscue led to an own goal. A throw-in by freshman Joshua Bean (Ellsworth, Maine) made it all the way to the goal mouth where a Charger defender knocked the ball into his own net on a failed clear attempt.
The Chargers netted the equalizer in the 34th minute off the foot of sophomore
Isaac Nichols (Sturbridge, Mass.). Sophomore teammate
Zach Anderson (Wilmington, Mass.) found Nichols who deposited his third goal of the season.
The second half featured several scoring chances for both sides, but neither team could find the back of the net with the game-winner.
In the 83rd minute, the Chargers thought they had a go-ahead goal when junior
Max Yee (Hooksett, N.H.) sent a high bending ball towards the far end of the goal, but was denied by the post.
Each team had a scoring chance in the first extra session, but could not find the target.
Husson outshot the Chargers 4-0 in the second overtime session. Three shots went wide, while the other was blocked by a defender.

Nick Austin (Westerly, R.I.) made a pair of saves, while Husson keeper Brian Potter (Waterville, Maine) had 10 stops to help preserve a tie.
