Men's Swimming and Diving Earns Win at UMass Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - February 4, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer College men's swimming and diving team finished the regular season with a 139-120 win over UMass Dartmouth.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

The Chargers were led by sophomore Keenan Bartlett, who won three individual events. Bartlett placed first in the 50 yard backstroke (30.53), the 200 yard backstroke (2:22.55) and the 1000 yard freestyle (11:29.73).

Bartlett also helped the 200 yard freestyle relay team to a first place (1:40.88). Other team members were Owen Worden, Jimmy Montanari and Jack Nessen.

Freshman Kyle Harris placed first in the 200 yard freestyle (1:59.13) and the 100 yard freestyle (53.80).

Senior Owen Worden also earned a first place finish in the 100 yard IM in a time of 1:01.98.

Senior Jack Nessen placed first in the 200 yard butterfly in a time of 2:24.18.

Junior Jimmy Montanari placed first in the 50 yard freestyle in a time of 24.59.

The swimming and diving team return to the pool February 17-19, 2012 for the New England Championships held at Upper Valley Aquatic Center in White River Junction, Vt.
