Lyndon Hits Late 3-Pointer to Beat Men's Basketball, 68-65

LYNDONVILLE, Vt. - November 29, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team fell at Lyndon, 68-65 as the Hornets made a game-winning three pointer with five seconds left to play in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener for both teams. 

The Chargers drop to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the NAC, while Lyndon improves to 1-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. 

Colby-Sawyer was led by 19 points from Mike Dias. He was 9-15 from the floor and added a team best seven rebounds. Corey Willis had six assists and moved into sixth on the all-time list with 378 for his career. Zach Bean added 11 points off the bench in 19 minutes of action. 

Colby-Sawyer will host NAC foe Johnson State on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
