Will Bardaglio scored 25 of his 33 points in the second half to lead the Colby-Sawyer men's basketball to an 86-72 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) road victory at Husson.
The Chargers improve to 7-5 overall and 5-1 in NAC play, while Husson falls to 2-9 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
Bardaglio led all players with 33 points and knocked down eight three pointers, which put him in second place on the all-time list for career three pointers made with 288. He also was a perfect 7 for 7 from the free throw line.
Koang Thok went 6-7 from the line putting up 16 points of his own. The Chargers were 21-25 from the line in the game and shot 51.7% from beyond the arc.
The Eagles Marc Zaharchuk was a huge presence at both ends of the court, totaling 21 points and 12 rebounds. Daeshawn McMorrin went 4-4 from the line, contributing 16 points and five rebounds. Husson struggled from the free throw line going only 14 of 24 and down the stretch.
Husson University plays again at Newman Gymnasium on Tuesday January 10, at 5:30PM against Thomas College. The Chargers return home to face Green Mountain College on Thursday at 5:30PM.
