Men's Basketball Drops Season Opener to Plymouth State, 84-75

CONCORD, N.H. - November 15, 2010 -
The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball fell to the Panthers of Plymouth State, 84-75 in a season opener for both teams at the Jacob's Bridge Through Autism Classic. The tournament was held at the Crocker Center on the campus of NHTI.

Freshman Robbie Burke led all Chargers with 19 points on 8-11 shooting. Freshman John Roberts made seven of nine shots for 15 points and added a game-high eight rebounds.

The Chargers will look to rebound this weekend with a pair of games at the Rivier/Coca-Cola Tip-Off Tournament. Colby-Sawyer Daniel Webster on Friday at 8:00 pm and then either River or Bard on Saturday.
