PAXTON, Mass. - January 16, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team won their second straight game with a 75-56 victory at Anna Maria on Saturday afternoon. Senior
Terri Duffy recorded her fifth double-double in the past six games and seventh overall with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Duffy knocked down 8 of 10 shots from the floor and both of her free throw attempts. The 18 points today puts her four shy of the fourth spot on the all-time career scoring list.
The Chargers improve to 5-10 on the year and 2-1 in the TCCC, while the AMCATS fall to 8-7 overall and 0-3 in conference play. The Chargers did most of their damage in the paint outscoring the AMCATS, 48-16.

Ashley Brewer had another solid game with eight points on 4-5 shooting and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in the win. Freshman
Sammi Lehr scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds, while sophomore
Maggie Rossi tallied eight points and a career-high tying nine assists. Freshman
Taylor DeSanty had 15 points and career-high totals of five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks.
The AMCATS were led by 13 points from Samantha Ashton, while Alison McCarthy contributed12 points and five assists. Chelsea Blair had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Chargers are back in action on Tuesday, January 19 with a 6:00pm game at Curry.
