HILTON HEAD, S.C. - March 8, 2009 - The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team dropped its spring season opener to Baldwin-Wallace, 7-2, at the start of the team's spring break trip.
The No. 1 doubles team of sophomore Hart Callahan (Malvern, Pa.) and senior Ben Taylor (Derry, N.H.) defeated Jim Kucera and Matt Lachman, 8-4. Callahan also earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles over Kucera.
The Chargers return to action on Tuesday, March 10 with a match against Transylvania beginning at 10:00 a.m.
