DARTMOUTH, N.H. – March 18, 2009 - The Chargers bounced back from a tough Spring Break trip to begin TCCC play on a positive note by defeating Curry College 7-2.
The Chargers took an early lead in the contest, by winning doubles matches at No.1 and No. 3. Ben Dabush (Weston, Conn.) and Evan Campbell (White River Junction, Vt.) also had multiple victories to propel the Chargers to victory. As doubles partners they defeated Curry's Matthew Lawrence and Caleb Zipperstein, 8-4 at No. 3. In singles competition, Dabush defeated Justin Levine, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2. At No. 5, Campbell did not lose a set, winning his match 6-0, 6-0 versus Matthew Lawrence.
