2013 North Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament
Colby-Sawyer College finished the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Volleyball season a perfect 6-0 in league play, and has earned the top seed in the upcoming NAC Championship. The Chargers (19-9 overall) have earned a bye through the first round, and will host the semifinal and final rounds on Friday and Saturday November 8 and 9.
Maine Maritime Academy (16-8 overall, 5-1 NAC) finished second in the league standings and has also earned a bye to the semifinal round.
Castleton State College (9-12 overall, 3-3 NAC) has earned the third seed in the tournament and will host sixth-seeded Lyndon State College (8-11 overall, 2-4 NAC) on Saturday in a first-round match-up.
Fourth-seeded Husson (10-18 overall, 3-3 NAC) will host the other first-round match versus fifth-seeded Green Mountain (5-16 overall, 2-4 NAC).
First round games will be played on Saturday, November 2 at the higher seed. Winners will advance to the semifinals held at Colby-Sawyer on Friday, November 8. Semifinal game times for Friday are 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. with the championship on Saturday, November 9 at 12 noon.
The NAC Champion receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship.
