Taylor DeSanty Earns a Pair of Weekly Awards

NEW LONDON, N.H. - January 23, 2012 - Colby-Sawyer junior Taylor DeSanty (North Adams, Mass.) has been named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, according to a release by the conference office on Monday. DeSanty also was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Honor Roll.

NEW LONDON, N.H. – January 21, 2012 – The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team shot 60.3%, the third highest shooting percentage in school history, en route to a 92-81 triumph over intrastate foe New England College, in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play on Saturday afternoon at the Hogan Sports Center.

Keenan Bartlett

Men's Swimming and Diving

Keenan Bartlett (So., East Stroudsburg, Pa.)... led the men’s swim team against Regis on Saturday. He clocked in at 1:59.86 to win the 200 yard freestyle. Keenan then earned a close second place in the 100 yard backstroke in a time of 1:02.97.

Krystyna Estrada

Women's Swimming and Diving

Krystyna Estrada (Fr., Lebanon, N.H.)... led the women’s swim team to a 158-81 win over Regis on Saturday. She placed first in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle. She finished the 50 yard freestyle race in 25.41 breaking her own school record. Estrada also helped the 800 yard freestyle relay team to a first place finish.
