The Hogan Sports Center Recreation Day Camp is entering its 31st year as a service to the Kearsarge/Sunapee Region of NH.
Summer Camp 2025
The camp is open to boys and girls entering Kindergarten through the end of 5th grade. Children will be divided into groups according to the grade that they will be entering in the fall. Each group will have at least one counselor for every ten children.
All activities (except the field trip) take place on the campus of Colby-Sawyer College, in the two gym facilities and the outdoor fields.
The camp is coordinated by Lisa Lacombe, Director of the Hogan Sports Center and Recreation and Connor Duquette, Recreation and Game Operations Coordinator. Responsible high school and college-age students assist in providing a fun, safe environment for the campers.
Sports
Every day, campers have the opportunity to play a traditional sport. We emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship.
Arts and Crafts
Campers take part in a variety of projects including science and nature type experiments as well as the traditional draw, cut and paste activities.
Recreational Games
Fun games like capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, twister, board games, a hike to the playground or a scavenger hunt walk may occur during this session. At times we may use the Ray Indoor Climbing Wall.
Swimming
A favorite activity of the campers! This is a non-structured time for the campers to play in the beautiful, 6-lane, 25 yard indoor pool.
Field Trips
Once a week we take the campers on a trip. Past adventures included Weirs Beach, Ellacoya State Park, Storrs Pond Recreation Area and Wellington State Park. We do not take a trip the week of the 4th of July or the last week of camp.

We may offer days the week of June 16th depending on the number of snow days the local school districts have to make up.
Cost is $200/week or $45/day. July 4th week $180.
Program hours are 8:30am - 4:30 pm. Early drop off and late pickup is available for an extra $10/week for one or $20/week for both.

One adult creates the account and then additional family members can be added to the account. Once you have an account you can go to programs and register your child for camp. Please register them for the grade they will be entering in the fall of 2025.
