Track and Field – The 2014-15 season was a very special one for Colby-Sawyer and the track and field program. The Chargers competed in an indoor track and field season for the first time, which was comprised of five regular season meets and two postseason meets.
In its inaugural season, the Colby-Sawyer indoor track and field team sent ten men to the New England Championships.

Hayden Bunnell placed eighth in the 3000 meter run to earn All-New England honors.
The Chargers sent five men to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships at the world famous Armory Track & Field Center. The men's distance relay team of
Ben Bunnell,
Hayden Bunnell,
Brandon Legendre and
Chip Keeler earned All-ECAC honors with a seventh place finish.
Jesse Socci competed in the shot put. The Bunnell brothers also competed in the 3000 meter run. Hayden placed fourth and Ben finished in sixth to each earn All-ECAC honors.
As special as competing in indoor for the first time, the 2015 outdoor season was just as special. Colby-Sawyer held its first outdoor track and field meet at the Sally Shaw Veitch Track & Field and it happened to be the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship. The NAC sponsored a women's track and field championship for the first time in conference history, while the NAC men's teams competed in an invitational because the conference does not yet sponsor men's track and field.
The Colby-Sawyer men cruised to the title in the NAC Invitational with 123 points.
Rasheed Foster won the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash.
Hayden Bunnell cruised to a win in the 5000 meter run.
Brandon Legendre took top honors in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:02.97. The 4x400 relay team of Legendre,
Al Sayce,
Matt Carl and senior
Matt Hunt (Milton, Mass.) won with a time of 3:37.15.
Jesse Socci won the shot put (14.05m) and the hammer (32.69m). In the discus,
Karl Nyholm took home first place with a mark of 38.10m. Other winners included

Colby-Sawyer had 12 men travel to the New England Outdoor Championship hosted by MIT. Representing the Chargers in individual events were
Rasheed Foster (100m, 200m),
Al Sayce (100m, 200m),
Curtis Warren (pole vault),
Karl Nyholm (shot put),
Jesse Socci (shot put) and
Cullen Robinson (triple jump). In addition, the Chargers had three relay teams compete. Foster and Sayce joined
Chip Keeler and freshman
Scottie Bonneau (Methuen, Mass.) to race the 4x100 relay. Sayce and Keeler also raced in the 4x400 relay with
Matt Hunt and
Matt Carl. The 4x800 relay team featured freshman
Kody Frye (Keene, N.H.),
Ben Bunnell,
Brandon Legendre and
Hayden Bunnell.
The men's team set four records at New England's.
Rasheed Foster came away with a pair of new standards. He broke the four-year old school record of 10.94 when he crossed the 100 meter dash finish line in 10.87. Foster also broke his own 200 meter dash record of 22.31 with a new time of 22.07.
Also setting school records at New England's were the 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams. The 4x400 team raced to a combined time of 3:30.24 to beat the previous school record set in 2009 by .25 seconds. The 4x800 relay team had a record time of 7:58.76.
Colby-Sawyer sent six men to the ECAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Springfield College.
