WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - November 7, 2015 - Members of the Colby-Sawyer men's cross country team competed at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship hosted by Williams College. The 8k race was held at Mount Greylock High School.
RESULTSThe Chargers finished 34th out of 40 in a race that featured 277 runners. Colby-Sawyer was one of many teams that entered their second seven athletes in the ECAC championship race. This gives the top seven an extra week to prepare for the NCAA Regional Championships on November 14.
Senior
Luis Garzon Manco was the first Chargers to complete the course. He finished in 30:03.23 to place 154th.
Freshman
Matt Royer came away with 178th place in a time of 30:53.78.
Junior
Matthew Nosal traversed the course in 31:42.42 and finished in 206th.
The Chargers' fourth and fifth runners junior
Alec Holland (226th, 32:38.32) and sophomore
Stephen Bennett (245th, 33:34.60) rounded out Colby-Sawyer's competitiors on Saturday.
Colby-Sawyer will head to Conn. College next weekend to compete in the NCAA Regional's.
