WATERFORD, Conn. - November 14, 2015 - The Colby-Sawyer men's cross country team placed 28th out of 55 full teams at Saturday's NCAA Regional 8k race at Harkness Memorial State Park hosted by Connecticut College.
RESULTSThe Colby-Sawyer team was the top finisher from the North Atlantic Conference, which included six full teams and two other incomplete squads.
Senior
Ben Bunnell paced the team with a time of 26:35.60 to finish in 101st place in a race that featured 380 runners.
Junior
Brandon Legendre was the second Charger to finish. He placed 161st at 27:36.60.

Travis Yandow and seniors
DJ Ayotte and
Luis Garzon Manco turned in their fastest 8k times of their career when it counted the most on Saturday. Yandow placed 18th at 27:55.10, while Ayotte was close behind in 193rd at 28 minutes flat. Manco placed 252nd in 28:51.50.
Sophomore
Kody Frye finished in 28:12.60 to place 208th, while
Bruin Smith clocked in at 29:20.70 to place 283rd in his first NCAA Regional appearance.
