MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - April 19, 2010 - Colby-Sawyer track and field athletes
Derek Lautenschlager and
Amber Cronin competed at Middlebury over the weekend.
Derek scored 4138 points in the decathlon and performed well in several of the events. He placed second among eight competitors in the long jump with a mark of 5.49m. He also had a second place in the discus with a distance of 24.99m. Lautenschlager ended his day by winning the 110m hurdles in 18.01.
Cronin competed in the heptathlon and scoerd 2515 points. Highlighting Amber's day was a 1.40m high jump en route to the event victory.
