NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - February 6, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swim team were defeated by UMass Dartmouth, 166-101 on Saturday afternoon. The team will compete next at the New England Championships on February 19-20.
Hannah Fairbank earned the first Chargers victory of the afternoon with a first place in the 200 yard butterfly at 2:46.34.
Danielle Bowen followed with a victory in the 50 yard freestyle by touching the wall at 26.80. Bowen also won the 100 yard backstroke in 1:06.69 and the 200 yard IM at 2:26.81.
Natalie Whaley clocked in at 1:10.07 to win the 100 yard butterfly.
Morgan Parker won the 50 yard freestyle at 33.06.
Whaley, Katherine Donohue,
Michele Lewis, and
Stephanie Smith teamed to win the 400 yard freestyle relay at 4:16.06.
