NEW LONDON, N.H. – April 27, 2009 – Colby-Sawyer senior Tom White (Lisbon, N.H.) has been named the TCCC Baseball Player of the Week, according to a release by the conference office. White had a staggering week at the plate hitting .522 over the course of five games. He also registered 13 RBI and scored 12 runs.
White is near the top of the TCCC statistical leaders in most offensive categories. He currently leads all TCCC players with 96 total bases. Tom ranks second in RBI and homeruns with 58 and nine, respectively. He is third in slugging percentage (.738), third in hits with 55 and fifth in batting average (.423).
Colby-Sawyer travels to Curry on Tuesday, April 28 to begin TCCC Tournament action. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
