Biography

As a senior: The senior captain saw action in 11 sets. Her 43 aces was second best on the team and she finished her career ranked fourth all-time in aces. Defensively, Hannon tallied 185 digs.

As a junior: Hannon saw action in 106 sets. For the third straight season, she led the team in service aces with 61 and moved into seventh all-time in career aces with 204. Hannon was fifth on the team in digs with 172.

As a sophomore: Hannon saw action in a team-high 114 sets. She led the team in service aces with 64 and was fifth in digs with 169. Hannon had a career-high nine aces versus Johnson State.

As a freshman: Hannon saw action in all 121 sets in her first season. She was tied for first in aces with 79 and fourth in digs with 241. As the second setter, Hannon had a career-high in assists in the NCAA tournament with 16 versus Middlebury College.

At Bourne: Sarah was the Division 2 service ace leader in 2008. She also led her team to the Division 2 state championship game in 2009. The team earned the AVCA Academic Award in all four years. She is a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of John and Kathy. Sarah has a sister named Kelsey and a sister named Alyson. Sarah is a Health Care Management major.
