Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Julia completed her career as a member of the Colby-Sawyer volleyball team as one of the top defenders in Charger history. In her final season, Julia recorded 231 digs, averaginf 2.08 digs per set. In her final game versus SUNY New Paltz, Julia recored 11 digs, allowing her to become the tenth Charger to surpass the 1,000 dig milestone. Julia currently ranks 10th All-Time in career digs with 1,003.

As a junior: Julia continued to establish herself as one of the team's best passers and defensive specialists. Her consistent played allowed her to post 224 digs, averaging 2.00 digs per set, both second most on the team. Julia had a season-high 15 digs in a four-set win over Emerson on September 22.

As a sophomore: Julia saw action in 118 sets. Her 278 digs was second highest on the team. Julia moved to a primary passer position and continued to improve as the season progressed. Her consistent play down the stretch helped the Chargers to their first NAC Championship. Julia had her best performance of the year at the Coast Guard Academy where she posted a career high 23 digs.

As a freshman: Julia saw action in all 125 sets. Her aggressive defensive and quick play earned her 270 digs. Julia posted ten 10+ dig matches including a career high 18 versus Maine Maritime. Julia was also a force from the serving line posting 56 aces on the year including a team high 10 aces versus Castleton State.

At Quincy: Julia earned four varsity letters in softball, three in volleyball and two in basketball in her four years at Quincy. She was a member of the Patriot League and South Central Division I championship volleyball teams. Julia was a two-time Patriot League All-Star in softball (2009-2010) and volleyball (2008-2009).

Personal: Daughter of Bob Yee and Susan Wade. Julia has two brothers, Robbie and Benjamin, and one sister named Kristina. Julia is a Graphic Design major.
