David Starin

David Starin enters his third season as the head coach of the women's volleyball program in 2024. 

In his second season Starin led the Chargers to a 7-24 overall record and a 5-10 GNAC record. Colby-Sawyer fell in the GNAC Play-In round to Emmanuel to conclude their season. David coaches two CSC Academic All-District selections in 2023. 

Starin finished his first season in New London with a 9-18 overall record and a 5-8 GNAC record. The Chargers finished the regular season as the ninth best team in the GNAC just narrowly missing the playoffs. David picked up his first collegiate win on September 2nd in a 3-2 victory against Worcester State University and has now coached a single GNAC All-Conference Third Team selection. 

Starin came to New London following a recent stint with Bedford High School, where he amassed a 41-3 record in his three-year tenure with the program. Starin also has extensive experience at the club level, serving as a head coach for Hard Rock Volleyball since 2014, where he has helped capture 27 NERVA / New England Region tournaments. 
 
Starin also has prior experience at the collegiate level, having previously served as an assistant coach at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2013-14 and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2012-2013. He also previously served as head coach of the Londonderry High School boys and girls teams where he was named as the 2009 coach of the year.
 
An active member of the New Hampshire Volleyball Coaches Association, Starin received his bachelor's degree in marketing management in 2006 from Siena College and his master's degree in finance at Southern New Hampshire University in 2012.
