2022: Cotten saw action in 26 matches for the Chargers in her senior season registering 150 kills, 53 blocks, 17 digs and two assists. Ameesah ranked 10th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in total blocks (52) and 2nd in solo blocks (29). Cotten had a big match on October 19th putting up 10 kills and a career-high five solo blocks against Saint Joseph's College of Maine. Ameesah had a career-best 11 kills on October 26th against Norwich University to go with a pair of digs and blocks. Cotten was later named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team and was given the Chargie Champion of Character award.  

2021: Cotten saw action in 28 matches for the Chargers including making 24 starts. Ameesah finished the year in 93 sets with 97 kills, a team-high 52 blocks, 25 digs and four assists. Cotten had a career-high seven kills in three-straight games starting on September 3rd against SUNY Cobleskill in a 3-1 victory. Cotten added another seven kills on September 7th at Wentworth before finishing the stretch with seven kills and four blocks against Husson University in a 3-2 Charger win.

2020: The team did not compete due to COVID-19. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Newburgh Free Academy where Cotten was a dual-sport athlete competing in basketball and volleyball. Cotten was a two-time season leader in solo blocks in volleyball and two-time leader in offensive rebounds in basketball.
