AT COLBY-SAWYER
2026: Putnam made an immediate impact in his first season with the Chargers, quickly earning a starting role and starting 38 games. Jacob finished the season batting .301 with 41 hits, 34 runs scored, 33 RBIs, eight doubles, four home runs and 11 walks while adding six stolen bases. Putnam provided several standout performances during the season, including a four-hit game at Norwich on April 3rd and a pair of impressive games against Plymouth State on April 16th, combining for six hits, six runs scored, nine RBIs and two home runs in the doubleheader. Defensively, Putnam became a fixture in the middle infield, recording 54 putouts and a team-high 115 assists while helping turn 25 double plays. Following his strong debut season at Colby-Sawyer, Putnam was named GNAC Third Team All-Conference.

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Transfer from Saint Anselm College. Graduate of Woodsville High School, where Putnam served as a team captain and was named the NHIAA Division IV Player of the Year in baseball. Jacob was also a standout on the basketball court, serving as a team captain and helping Woodsville complete an undefeated season capped by an NHIAA Division IV State Championship.
