Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: McQueeney, a co-captain in 2017, played and started in all 16 of Colby-Sawyer's games. She posted seven points on two goals and three assists. On her way to being named NAC Player of the Week, McQueeney helped the team to a pair of wins over tough opponents. She assisted a goal in a 2-0 win over Gordon then played a major role in a 2-1 overtime win at Castleton. She assisted the game-tying goal and then sent the Chargers home with a 2-1 win by sending her lone shot of the game into the back of the net.  

As a junior: McQueeney was tied for seventh on the team with six points on two goals and two assists. One of her goals was the game-winner in an important 3-1 road win at UMaine-Farmington on October 22. McQueeney started nine times and played in all 20 of the Chargers' matches. 

As a sophomore: McQueeney was fifth on the team with seven points on three goals and an assist. She earned a start in 14 appearances in 2015. She recorded her first collegiate goal in the first match of the season in a 3-0 win over Norwich on September 1. Her second goal of the season was the game-winning goal in an important 3-2 road win at Maine Maritime on September 19. 

As a freshman: McQueeney played in 12 of the Chargers' 20 games in 2014. 

At St. Johnsbury: Nell earned three varsity letters in soccer for the Hilltoppers. She helped guide the team to a semifinals appearance for the first time in several years. Nell was named Second Team All-State once and was a three-time All-State Honorable Mention honoree. She also was named to the Vermont State High School Honorable Team and had the change to play with the best players in Vermont.
