As a senior: Mitchell was the starting goalkeeper in 15 matches in her final season. She posted a record of 6-7-1 with a pair of shutouts against GNAC opponents. Mitchell finished her career ranked 4th in career wins with 20, 10th in career saves with 234 and 6th in shutouts with six. Mitchell was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team.Â
As a junior: Mitchell started the season opener in goal, but was injured in the first half and did not see time in net the rest of the season. She was able to play the field in the final two weeks of the season and notched a pair of goals. Her first collegiate tally came at Saint Joseph's (ME) on Oct. 17.Â
As a sophomore:Â Mitchell was named to the All-NAC First Team and earned four NAC Defensive Player of the Week awards throughout the season. She had a 7-2-1 overall record in goal and a 5-0 mark in NAC games. Two of her starts resulted in solo shutouts, while another was a shared shutout. Mitchell posted a league best .82 goals against in all games and a .70 goals against in NAC games. She also had a NAC best .862 save percentage in all games and was second with a .833 save percentage against conference opponents. One of her best games came against regionally ranked and NCAA Tournament participant Middlebury (12-4-2) when she allowed only one goal and made a season-high 10 saves.
As a freshman: Mitchell stepped right in as the starting goalkeeper and earned seven wins with two shutouts. She earned three NAC Rookie of the Week awards, one NAC Defensive Player of the Week honor and one ECAC Rookie of the Week award. Her first collegiate win came in a thrilling 1-0 overtime win over Norwich in the season opener. She then finished the season strong helping the team to nine straight victories and the NAC Championship. Mitchell put together three straight impressive games in the NAC Tournament, leading the Chargers to a pair of upsets on the road. After a home win over UMF, the rookie made eight saves in a 2-1 win over second seeded Husson in the NAC Semifinals and then played arguably her best game of the season in the highest pressure situation to pick up the win with seven saves in a 1-0 victory over top-seeded New England College in the NAC Championship. Mitchell was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts.
At Pinkerton: Mitchell was earned varsity letters in soccer for the Astros. She helped the team to win the programs first championship in 2015. She was first team all-state and team captain as a senior and second team all-state as a sophomore.Â
