As a senior: Castellano was named to the NAC All-Tournament team and earned a NAC Defensive Player of the Week award as the Chargers' starting goalie. She played and started in 16 games and finished with a 9-5 record. Castellano improved her program record win total to 32. She also moved into sixth in career saves with 335. She recorded a season-high 13 saves in the NAC semifinals at Castleton. Castellano also got a chance to play the field a couple of times and scored her first two goals of her career with the first coming in a win at Newbury on March 1.
As a junior: Castellano earned All-NAC Second Team accolades in 2016. In conference games only, Castellano ranked first in minutes (480), second in goals against (40), second in goals against average (5.00), second in wins (7), second in save percentage (60.0) and fifth in saves (60). In all games, she led all NAC players with 12 wins and was second in goals against average (8.69). Castellano ended the season ranked 61st in the nation in goals against average and 69th in saves with 141. She set a single-season program record with 12 wins and has a record 23 career wins. She also ranks seventh in career saves with 253. Castellano was twice named NAC Defensive Player of the Week and once named ECAC Defensive Player of the Week this season.
As a sophomore: Castellano tied the program record for wins in a season with 10. She logged 900 of the teams 960 minutes in 2015. Castellano ranks tied for fifth in career victories with 11. Castellano finished the year with a 7.8 goals against average, which ranked her 17th in the nation.
As a freshman: Castellano appeared in three games as the Chargers' goalie. She went 1-0, earning the victory over Johnson & Wales on March 13.
At Sacred Heart Academy: Castellano played field hockey and lacrosse for the Pacers. She earned a letter as a sophomore and was pinned as a junior and senior.
Personal: Daughter of Cliff and Denise. Has a brother named Taylor. Meghan is an Athletic Training major.
