Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Gurnee started in all but two of the Chargers' 19 games. She finished the year with 10 goals and eight assists. Gurnee was third on the team with 45 ground balls and third in caused turnovers with 25. Her best game of the season was in a 13-7 win over Norwich on April 17 when she recorded two goals, two assists, five ground balls and three caused turnovers. 

As a junior: Gurnee played in all of the team's games for the second straight season and earned 15 starts. She was fourth on the team with 19 draw controls and 27 ground balls.  

As a sophomore: Gurnee appeared in all 17 of Colby-Sawyer's games. She was fifth on the team with 20 points, sixth in goals with 13 and tied for fourth in assists with seven. Gurnee ranked third on the squad with 21 caused turnovers and fourth with 37 ground balls. She recorded at least one point in 11 games and had three points three times. 

As a freshman: Gurnee played in all but one of the Chargers' 16 games in 2013. She compiled three goals and 10 ground balls. She recorded her first collegiate goal on March 27 in a 13-12 win over Salem State. 

At South Portland: Maryalice was a three-sport athlete for the Red Riots. She earned two letters in lacrosse, two letters in basketball and three letters in soccer. She was named SMAA Western Class Lacrosse Honorable Mention in 2012 and also appeared in the 2012 All-Star game. 

Personal: Daughter of Larry and Libby. Has a brother named Timothy. Maryalice is an Exercise Science major.
