AT COLBY-SAWYER
2026: Hill made three appearances on the mound for the Chargers, totaling six innings of work with four strikeouts. Rex opened his season on March 10th at Wentworth, recording two strikeouts over 1.2 innings, and added another two-strikeout performance on April 1st at Gordon.
2025: Hill made a strong return to the mound after missing the previous season due to injury, appearing in 11 games with seven starts. Rex threw 31.1 innings, recorded 22 strikeouts, and earned three wins. He delivered one of his best performances on March 11th against Keene State, tossing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts while allowing just one hit. Hill also showed his ability to work deep into games, throwing a career-high seven innings in a win over Mount Saint Vincent and six innings in a victory over Saint Joseph’s (Maine).
2024: Hill missed the entire 2024 season due to injury.
2023: Hill made his collegiate debut for the Chargers on March 17th at Knox College, throwing one inning and recording his first collegiate strikeout.
PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vermont, where Hill was a three-sport varsity athlete in baseball, basketball, and soccer and served as a captain in both baseball and basketball. He helped lead the Wildcats to the 2022 Lakes Region Baseball Championship. Hill went 4-1 on the mound with a 2.60 ERA, 1.009 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts across 37.2 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .194 batting average.
