Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2023-24: Grillone came to Colby-Sawyer midway through the 2023-24 season from the University of New England. Makenna ended the year with 17 games started and 18 overall appearances averaging 4.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Grillone's best game of the season came on January 2nd against Wellesley scoring seven points to go with four rebounds and three assists in a clutch win. Makenna had another huge game on January 27th against Mitchell with nine points, three steals, two assists and two boards in a big win at home. Grillone registered a career-best 10 points on January 30th against Amherst with 10 points.  

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Fall Mountain Regional High School, where Grillone was a two-time All-State Honorable Mention and a two-time New Hampshire State Championship Runner Up.

At the University of New England: Grillone joins the Chargers after making four appearances for the Nor'easters in 2023.
