Coach Bergstrom enters her fourth season at the helm of the Colby-Sawyer women’s soccer program. She has compiled an overall record of 20-29-7 and The Commonwealth Coast Conference mark of 15-21-3 in her first three seasons.
Bergstrom will lead the Chargers into the 2011 season as one of two new members to join the North Atlantic Conference. New England College is also joining the NAC in 2011.
Jody also serves as the Senior Women's Administrator for athletics.
Bergstrom, who spent 2007 as the head girl's soccer coach at Southwest Christian High School in Chaska, Minnesota, was named the 11th head women's soccer coach in Colby-Sawyer's history in August 2008.
Prior to coaching at Southwest Christian, Bergstrom was the Director of Campus and Community Programs and the Club Women's Soccer Coach at the University of Denver. She was responsible for 27 club sports, all intramural programs and also oversaw numerous facilities including a field house, tennis center, athletic fields and a gymnasium.
Bergstrom had also previously served as the Associate Athletic Director and Women's Soccer Coach at Trinity College in Washington, DC from October 2001 until November of 2003. She led the program to a 12-5 record in 2002, the first winning record in the team's NCAA history. She was also named Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference Coach of the Year in 2002.
