As a senior: Ally ended her career as a Charger as one of the most decorated and honored players in Colby-Sawyer history. For a fourth straight year, she was honored as conference defensive player of the year and First Team All-Conference. She recorded 564 digs giving her a career total of 2,577, setting the career record for the New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA). Ally's career dig total was 44 digs shy of making the top 25 in NCAA D-III history. She finishes her career at Colby-Sawyer ranking first in digs (2,577), first in digs per set (5.49) and fourth in aces (230).
As a junior: Ally solidified herself as one of the Charger greats as she became the all-time digs holder and surpassed the 2,000 dig mark. On September 28, at the University of Maine Farmington, Ally surpassed Amy Tarte's record of 1,776 digs to become the all-time career leader in digs for the Chargers. On November 3, versus Maine Maritime Academy, Ally surpassed the 2,000 dig milestone en route to helping the team to it's second consecutive NAC championship. She finished the season with a team-high 523 digs and 4.63 digs per set. Ally was second on the team in aces (51) and aces per set (.52). For her great season and for the second straight year, she was named North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-NAC and All-NAC Tournament Team.
As a sophomore: Ally continued her outstanding career at Colby-Sawyer by posting team-highs in digs (722), digs per set (6.02) and aces (79). Her 722 digs and 6.02 digs per set marked the first time in school history that a player has recorded both 700+ digs and 6.00+ digs per set in multiple seasons. Her 6.02 digs per set was ranked 15th in the nation and her 79 aces helped the team to a ranking of 20 in aces per set. Ally also became a more intricate part of the team's all-around play as she had a career-high in kills (48), attempts (270) and assists (35). She was honored by the North Atlantic Conference as Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the NAC All-Conference First Team and NAC All-Tournament Team. Ally was also honored by the AVCA and NEWVA. She was recognized as an AVCA All-New England Region Honorable Mention and NEWVA All-New England Third Team. She also was named ECAC Defensive Playerof the Year and ECAC All-New England First Team.Â
As a freshman: Ally had one of the most impressive first years in Colby-Sawyer history. She recorded a single season record 768 digs, averaged 6.24 digs per set, had six 30+ dig matches, and was named TCCC Libero of the Week five times. Ally's 6.24 digs per set was ranked 12th in the nation and Le-Bruno was the top freshman in the nation in that category. For her outstanding season, Ally was named TCCC Libero of the Year, All-TCCC First Team and NEWVA All-New England Rookie Team.
At Medfield: Ally was a libero for the Warriors and earned Tri-Valley League All-Star accolades. She was a member of the 2008 and 2009 Medfield State Championship teams.
Personal: Daughter of Bill and Hong Le-Bruno. Ally has one older sister named Quyen Le. Ally is a Business major.
