Colby-Sawyer Athletics

5th year: Liam, a team captain, earned five starts in six appearances in the shortened 2020 season and hit .308. Liam was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team for the second year in a row. 

As a senior: Liam began the season with a 3-for-3 effort with two RBI against Medaille on March 9, but appeared just seven more times during the season due to injury. Liam was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team. 

As a junior: Liam earned NAC All-Academic honors. He started 16 times in 18 appearances and was tied for sixth on the team with three doubles. 

As a sophomore: Liam started 18 times in 21 appearances as one of the Chargers' catchers. He hit .283 and led the team with a .441 on base percentage. Liam caught six runners trying to steal. He was third on the team with nine walks and struck out just six times.

As a freshman: Liam played in 20 games and started 16 times as a catcher. He led the team with an impressive .558 on base percentage. Liam posted the third best average on the team at .353 and led the squad with 16 walks. He also was perfect on the base paths stealing five bases in five attempts. He recorded his first collegiate hit against NEC on March 12.

At Mohawk Trail: Liam was on the baseball, soccer and alpine ski teams for the Warriors and was captain of each. He was named all-league in soccer and baseball and played in all-star games in both sports. In his freshman and sophomore seasons, he won the league in skiing. Liam is a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Karen and Paul. Liam is a History and Political Studies major.
