2026: Dennis continued to establish himself as one of the top hitters in the GNAC, starting all 39 games for the Chargers and earning GNAC Third Team All-Conference honors. He produced a career-best .387 batting average and .494 on-base percentage, collecting a career-high 53 hits with 40 runs scored, 23 walks, 21 RBIs, 14 doubles, three home runs and eight stolen bases in 137 at-bats. Among GNAC hitters, Dennis ranked fourth in on-base percentage (.494), eighth in doubles (14), ninth in batting average (.387), 10th in extra-base hits (17) and 11th in hits (53). He recorded 16 multi-hit games, highlighted by a career-high four-hit performance at Massachusetts Maritime on March 8th. Dennis delivered one of his best games of the season at New England College on April 18th, going 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and a career-high four runs scored. He also drove in three runs against Norwich on April 3rd and Elms on April 22nd. Defensively, Dennis remained a mainstay at first base, recording a career-high 300 putouts and 10 assists while posting a .966 fielding percentage across 321 chances.
2025: Dennis put together a breakout sophomore campaign as one of the Chargers' top offensive players, starting in 39 games and earning GNAC First Team All-Conference, D3baseball.com All-Region Third Team and ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region 1 All-Region Third Team honors. Dennis hit .355 with 49 hits, 39 RBIs, 37 runs scored, a career-high 20 doubles, a career-high six home runs, one triple and seven stolen bases in 138 at-bats. He recorded several standout performances throughout the season, including a 3-for-3 game with two RBIs and a home run against Dean on April 14th and a three-hit, two-RBI performance against Vermont State Lyndon on April 16th. Dennis drove in a career-high four runs at Saint Joseph's (Maine) on May 3rd, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run. Defensively, Dennis continued to anchor first base, recording 280 putouts and 10 assists while posting a .973 fielding percentage across 298 chances.
2024: Dennis became an everyday player for the Chargers in his first season playing in 40 games with 39 starts as a two-way option on the year. At the plate Evan ended the season slashing .316/.460/.410 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with two homers, 28 runs, 24 RBIs, 10 stolen bases and five doubles. On the mound he ended the season with seven showings including five starts with a 1-1 record, 8.14 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched. In the field Dennis was a mainstay at first base with a .976 fielding percentage with 271 putouts and 16 assists. Dennis' first collegiate home run came on March 14th against Fredonia State going 2-for-4 in a Charger win. His first collegiate win on the mound came on April 22nd against Vermont State University - Lyndon tossing four innings striking out two and allowing three earned runs. Dennis' best collegiate game came on May 5th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pod Play going 3-for-3 with four RBIs, three runs scored and a home run as the Chargers defeated Anna Maria.Â
PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER:Â Graduate of Blue Mountain Union High School, where Dennis was a two-time All-Conference selection and a basketball and baseball state champion. Evan was also the area player of the year.
