AT COLBY-SAWYER
2022-23: Owens was a star for the Chargers in 2022-23 going 7-3 in singles action including a 4-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) record and a dominant 10-2 doubles record with a 6-0 conference record. Alyssa captured a key doubles point on October 22nd with Elise Hogan in the GNAC Championship against Regis College winning #2 doubles by a 8-3 final. Owens was later named to the GNAC First Team All-Conference Singles, GNAC Second Team All-Conference Doubles and GNAC All-Rookie Team Selection. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Grain Valley High School, where Owens was a four-time conference champion while going undefeated in conference for all four years. Owens was also a academic all-conference selection in all four years and was a first team all-conference singles and doubles in her senior year. 

At Missouri Western State University: Owens was a 2022 Mid-Ameriacn Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) Academic Excellence and Honor Roll recipient. Owens finished her career 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles action as the Griffons made first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 1998 and beat their first opponent.
